How Much Does Nutrition Matter When It Comes To Building Muscles?
by personaltraininghelp.net
If
you have been at the gym for a while, you know what I am talking about
when I say that there are always a lot of people that lift weights for
months and months but don't seem to get ANY bigger. Well, I can
guarantee that what they are doing wrong is their eating. I trained for
many years before learning the true value of eating right, and now I am
here to teach you just how important it is, and stop you from wasting
your time in the gym.
So, what is it important to focus on when it comes to eating? First and
foremost, eat enough! When you think you eat enough, you aren't.
Calories are what counts the most, you need to eat more calories than
you burn. It's a very simple equation, if you eat less calories than you
burn, you lose weight, and if you eat more calories than you burn you
GAIN weight.
How much calories you need depends on your weight, fat percent, height,
gender and body type. I am not writing about how to calculate this in
this article. Now that you eat more calories than you burn, you need to
hit the gym so that the weight you gain is muscles and not fat.
Another thing that you should focus on when it comes to food is fiber.
It actually has a lot to say. If you have a lot of fiber in your food
intake your body performs a lot better. It is one of the simplest and
best tricks I know. You can notice better pumps and gains almost
immediately! Good tips to gain your fiber intake is to eat brown rice
instead of white and eat a lot of oat meal. Oat meal is a great source
for good fiber, but it stays in the stomach a long time and makes you
feel full for a long time so this is best to eat before bed, so you can
eat a lot and frequent meals at day time.
